Ok, its on my garage floor, and its tight to work on, not much room, and its a new engine, not out of my Granada Cossworth.

Althoughi took the Aircon tensioner off, probably best to remove the Fan first.

I made up a 36mm spanner from an old 3/4" Imperial and bent it in the vice so i could get down the back of the fan blade and wrapped a nylon strap around the water pump pulley.

And by the way, its a LEFT HAND THREAD, so turn the spanner clockwise looking at the engine to loosen the fan/viscous coupling.

When the Viscous Fan is off, all the ancillaries are clear and can be removed .

this question is to Gary & Kevin, Does the "Cosworth V6 BOA Workshop Manual" on here contain all the info I need to strip and rebuild, specifically dismantling and assembly of the heads in the right sequence, with all the torque wrench specs?

Already got the Service DVD from you.

And then there's these?
Ford Granada 24 Valve Cosworth Value Pack / Cosworth 24V Service & Repair 1990-1992 / Cosworth 24V Service & Repair 1992-1994 / BOA Workshop Manual & Service DVD

thanks Dave
