Replacing Rear Springs

Jack up car & unbolt axle shaft from dreiveshaft stub

Detach the stabaliser barfrom link rod

Detach the brake pipe from the bracket on the body and unclip brake pipes from floor

Support the lower suspention arm placing the spring under load.

Disconnect the shock absorber from the lower suspention arm
6
Unscrew the rear axle front crossmember mounting from the body
7
Lower the lower suspention arm and remove the rear spring and rubber pad from the car .
Refit

Locate the rear spring and rubber pad in position & raise the lower suspention arm , making sure that the spring is seated correctly

Secure the rear axle front crossmember to the body .

Raise the lower suspention arm ( placing spring under load ) & secure the shock absorber to the lowr arm .

Lower the lower suspention arm
5
Clip & secure brake pipe.
6
Attach the axle shaft to the driveshaft stub.
7
Connect the stabaliser bar to link rod
Lower car .
